Thanks Jack! When I was younger, I abused the family glass ball before I understood this concept. Fortunately, even the glass balls can be durable and repairable.

That's a good point. Important to identify what state a ball is currently in. If your job is on the line and you NEED that job to feed your family, it becomes a glass ball. But if you're neglecting your family to feed a work addiction, it's rubber and you need to throw it away for a bit.
