Great post as always. Reading this reminded me of Seneca's quote, "If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable." Over the last five years I've shifted the way I work through this lens. I always ask myself, "why am I doing this?" If I can't answer the question then I need to start asking better questions.

I can't wait for the pre-orders to drop for your book. Exciting times.

Totally not surprised you're being published, John. Seriously- your writing displays a depth of intellect and ability that I find both challenges and comforts me in my search to be a better version of myself. Thanks for following your dream and putting in the work, brother. You're making a difference in the lives of others, and I'm especially grateful for you.

Chip, that means a lot coming from you. I'm excited for the book to come out. I think it does a good job of explaining the life of a Recon Marine and Raider and covers a pretty interesting time in USMC history.
