Great Stuff. Super advice, I've been tracking your framework, and I like it a lot.

I've been using 7 lines of effort for my personal annual planning (Faith, Family, Finances, Fitness, Friends, Fun, Fulfillment). It has gaps, and I really appreciate what you are discussing and ruminating on.

All the best.

Great article, post Corps it is easy to forget the discipline that got you to your current post. Thank you and I will stay on azimuth.

I've had this concept of azimuth on my mind lately....the idea of working toward specific things that are housed under larger goals. For instance, when I am practicing my bow I'm currently trying to figure out what I am doing that is pushing the arrows off target at 80 yards....thanks for sharing, at the very least it confirms some thoughts I have been having lately.

Thanks, BB. The secret is to find the little thing that has the biggest impact and work on that.

Great points John! I also gave up on New Year's resolutions years ago. I set goals that I am reviewing on a monthly basis. As you said, why wait until January 1st.
